Day 3 Haugesund to Leirvik

Geographically embarrassed early but soon latched onto the idea of following the instructions. Weather very accommodating today. Ferry crossing in the morning and a number of bridge crossings in the afternoon.

Day 2 Stavanger to Haugesund

We set out to do 115km today but hit a few hurdles on the way; a new road appeared briefly to drag us off course, the 2:30 ferry was really the 4:30 ferry and it drizzled enough through the day to put out the burning light within. Nevertheless, we saw a lot of very big rocks and lots and lots of water.

Day 1 Prologue Brusand to Stavanger

Ok how hard could this be really? 14 fittish individuals, well trained and ready for a holday. Yes we have bikes, maps in German and a general sense of our orientation. And what's more today was flat, very flat. Sure we missed the odd turn, and needed guidance from a confident young more woman on a white stallion but we managed to make it to Krepp and then on to Stavanger where we wined and dined to our successes on the day. Tomorrow will be interesting though - a little longer and a few hills introduced.
